  2. unable to found Left Lower Limb and abdominal cyst during scanning.

Need advice and suggestions on this problem.. Please help.

You do need advice and help, but from your doctors at the hospital. Get them to sit down with you and explain what this means and next steps.

They asked me to give blood sample and another scan. But I like to know is their any possibility is their to have all is well.

I'd go for the new scan with an open mind.

My friend was told her unborn son had a chromosomal disorder, though Drs were unable to say what it was.
She spent the next few months stressing about it.

Baby was born, seemed ok. Throughout toddlerhood the parents were waiting for the disorder to manifest itself, but it didn't.

The boy is now in sixth form - happy, healthy. All that worry for nothing.

Good luck Smile

Agree with Clare you need more information from the Drs. Having been in a similar position it’s simply not enough to order a blood test and send you on your way.

Viviennemary · 21/01/2018 16:08

Saying the same as others. You need more information from doctors or hospital staff re what this means. I think it's really wrong to worry people with this if nothing is certain. Hope things turn out well when you have the other tests.

Children are sometimes born without limbs , sometimes they have other problems sometimes they don't . Get the tests done and see what the doctors say moving forward .

You have to be hopeful and realistic at the same time. I had almost the exact same markers on my scan with DD. She did indeed have a trisomy, confirmed via amnio.

When you say blood test, did the doctor do a Harmony test?
My last child was born nearly 4 years ago, so my options were invasive testing (Amnio/CVS). In your case, can you have the Harmony test to confirm? Did the doctor mention performing a CVS?

I am so sorry you're going through this. It's incredibly anxiety-inducing.

3mm is the upper end of 'normal' isn't it (I thought 3.5 was the cut off but obviously not an expert!) My little girl has an isolated limb difference (no other health problems) can a consultant rescan? What part of the leg is missing?) Xxx

Papa12 · 22/01/2018 04:42

Dr is not telling me clearly she is saying I can able to see right leg only baby is not moving it's left leg. And lower limb not grown well. Or leg is not found. She is confusing me... anyway today am moving to get blood test report.

Nothing to add to the excellent advice here, except please try to get some rest OP. No amount of ruminating is going to help you but a bit of sleep might Flowers

You need your blood test report to tell you what your chance is of a chromosome abnormality. If it’s high risk then you will be offered an amnio, I had an amnio because my chance was 1in5! Thankfully my baby didn’t have a chromosome abnormality only heart defects. I guess the drs haven’t said anything because they don’t know what they are dealing with here atm and need to wait for results then more info and as of now they have told you what they can see on the scan but still unsure what’s caused it. But once you get you risk result you can move forward with an amnio if that’s what you decide to have

Papa12 · 22/01/2018 10:20

Thanks for your comments. Got blood report seems all ok no chromosomal abnormalities. Brain function is good. Only think I have to check is baby leg measurement. They told can able to found baby leg but they are doubting with length when compare to right leg. I don't know how they are telling length defect in 12th week itself....
