Hello all

I wondered if any of you can recommend somewhere to have a early reassurance scan. I usually go to the fetal medicine centre who are fab but the journey there is really hard with a pram and I will struggle to get the pram down the stairs there alone.

Is there anywhere else in London (particularly SW London) that any of you would recommend. I've had parkside suggested to me. I'm very anxious about this pregnancy so want somewhere that are super professional and know their stuff!

SE rather than SW but I liked the scan I had in Eltham.

Thanks Clare- I think se might be a little too far for me x

I’ve been to babybond (think they’re called ultrasound direct now) in Wimbledon, got an apt quick enough and all very professional. Would recommend them!

I went to a babybond clinic in Chiswick when I was 8 weeks. They were very good. Good luck!

Thank you for the recommendations @pregle and @JudgeTinder. Babybond or whatever they are called now popped up on my Googlesearch so good to hear they are fine.

@JudgeTinder was the Chiswick one at the Hogarth clinic?

Yes it was, they explained things well and I didn’t feel rushed. Even though at 8 weeks the baby looked more like a monkey nut than a baby to me! 🥜

littlepooch · 21/01/2018 18:56

Thank you! That is convenient to me so I may give them a call if I get to 8/9 weeks. :)

Good luck! At that stage there should be a heartbeat too. I remember reading that the chances of anything going wrong after seeing that are greatly reduced. I found that very reassuring!

Baby bond Wimbledon

JassyRadlett · 21/01/2018 21:06

I had scans at Babybond in Wimbledon, but I think the clinic is up a flight of stairs? Otherwise highly recommended.

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 21/01/2018 21:09

Actually yes - it’s upstairs
But they will help you up if you really need to bring it

Rodent01 · 21/01/2018 21:12

Had a scan at 8 / 9 weeks at Babybond Wimbledon. All good, ran to time etc, but narrow flight of stairs from memory!

littlepooch · 21/01/2018 22:07

Oh no! I must remember to check then when I ring to book. I have to take a pram unfortunately my youngest dc is still a baby and I have no one I can leave them with.

I guess worst case I could try to lug her up the stairs in her car seat though!

Thank you all for your recommendations!
