Yes, mine was turning daily (head down, bottom down, hd, bd) until 3 days after his due date. Happened to be head down when I went into labour thank goodness and all went well.

33 weeks is way to soon to be worrying or for professionals to be worrying you. Chill if you can and wait another 3 weeks before even thinking about it again.

both mine were transverse and stayed that way til the end. I had c-sections (but I also had placenta praevia both times which meant I would have had to have had c-s anyway). I think I must have a womb shaped like a banana or something though as they just lay across me throughout.

Yes. Dd was transverse at 37 weeks. I was re-scanned a week later and she was head-down. I was told that if dd was still transverse at 38wks I would have to stay in hospital. 33 weeks is still very early.

Yeah DS was transverse and went head down, don't worry too much.

Trace, FWIW a friend of mine used acupuncture towards the end of her pregnancy and it may have worked. The baby did turn afterall!

LynetteScavo · 27/04/2007 20:43

It sounds like she's got pleanty of time to me. I was told to kneel with my elbows on the floor and my bum in the air to encourage baby to turn.

moxibustion might help, as might pulsatilla

also, google OFP !

I'm 37 weeks now at my 12 and 22 week scans baby was transverse at my 32 week scan baby was footling breech and 2 weeks later at 34 weeks it was head down and has been burrowing downwards ever since. Ouch it hurts!

Good luck. There is still time.

lulumama · 27/04/2007 21:21
