3D/4D scan but not wanting to know the sex?

Is this possible? I'm 27 weeks and thinking of booking a scan at 30 weeks so we can see baby again as going 20 weeks without seems a long time!

We've not found out the sex of the baby and wondered if it would be easy to tell on this kind of scan? If so I think we'll leave it as would hate to ruin the surprise.
If anyone has any experience please let me know :-)

I had 4D scans at 16 and 27 weeks and they don’t show you down there. They just get loads of pics of baby’s face 😊

Yes we did this. We wound up having x2 as bubs wouldn't behave and still don't know the sex.

We had a private growth scan at 30 weeks with a 4D snapshot and they can only really show you one part of the baby at a time because they are fairly big at that stage, the whole baby won't fit on the screen! We knew the sex already but would never have guessed from the scan, and if they know you don't want to know they'll be extra careful I'm sure.

We had a 4d scan at approx 30 weeks and told the sonographer we didn’t know or want to know the sex. The sonographer turned the screens off until she found where the baby was and then just did not go near that area again. No problems at all.

I had a 3D scan at 16 weeks because i wanted to find the sex out early and good job i did! as soon as they put the monitor on my belly it was straight on his genitals 😂

Oh wow faith that was lucky then! Yeah we said we didn't want to know so she made us look away until she had just the head in then she said it was unlikely we'd see anything else as baby is big now :-)

Awhh thats good then 😊 could you not tell by babys face if you thought they were a boy or girl? 🙈

Oh sorry you did say on the picture, i think bubba girl x my 3D scan at 16 weeks made my baby boy look like Voldemort hahaa. Im hoping he looks different with some meat on him!
