Weight gain - 2nd pregnancy

How much weight did you gain in your 2nd pregnancy?
I'm 24+4 and I've not gained a stone yet! My first pregnancy I gained 3 stone by the end.
Seeing my midwife Tuesday so I'm sure she'll tell me I've not gained enough yet but I'm only petite anyway and been eating normally.
So how much weight did you gain in your 2nd pregnancy?

I gained 1.5 stone to 41 weeks in my second pregnancy and that was all in the 3rd trimester. You weight gain doesn't sound too bad but I'm not a medical expert.

25 weeks and I've gained about 8-10 lbs. I wasn't slim to start with - bmi of 26 so pretty hefty already. I don't think the midwife will comment will she? They don't generally weigh at midwife appts. If you're eating normally and enough, then you're just lucky! Enjoy it!

Nothing! I had a few pounds but seemed to have lost it. I am almost 23 weeks. With my first I gained more than 5 stones by the end

34 weeks.. And about 2st..with hardly any bump.. I'm. All ass! Lol

Sorry should have said I was a healthy bmi starting out.

Im 31 weeks with my 2nd and only gained 7lbs so far, starting weight was 7st 12lbs so i expected to gain a ton!

14 weeks and I have gained about 3lbs it's all gone on the boobs this time

@Kidsandfarmers that was around my starting weight too! Although with this pregnancy I've been told I have a low BMI so I've got extra growth scans. My 1st pregnancy I was barely 7 stone and nothing was said 🤔
I think most of my weight has gone to my boobs too!! I've gone from an A to a D. I'm loving it 😂 I also held a lot of water in my first pregnancy, my fingers were swollen and so were my feet, and my bump was huge by this stage. I'm having a girl this time though and it's been a totally different pregnancy. Most of the time I forget I'm pregnant! Crazy!!

Put on 3 stone both times and lost it both times first time in 6 months second time in 9.

I don't think that's anything to be concerned about (3 stone is probably a lot! even for someone who's small). It sounds like you're gaining a healthy weight. I would say I'd gained maybe 10 lbs by end of 2nd tri, give or take. I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and have gained about 18lbs, so just a little over a stone. I gained 18lbs with my first as well (who was born at 37 weeks), so it's been about the same. That's a healthy, normal weight gain for my pre-pregnancy weight.

Ah im consultant led and have had fortnightly scans since 20 weeks because i had my toddler at 23 weeks. I have asked the midwife if my weight gain is okay and she said its perfect, shed be more concerned if i wasnt having the scans but all is good ☺ Gained 1.5st by 23 weeks last time and my start weight was higher than i weigh now at 31 weeks haah
