Early pregnancy and sciatica

I have suffered from sciatica regularly due to having a job sitting all day, but I would say i was uncomfortable at work, and pretty ok outside of work. I am only 7 weeks pregnant and my sciatica in the last 3 weeks has been agony along with lower back pain due to stretching. I feel miserable and I’m sure my poor husband is tired listening to me moaning. Any other women suffering from this and any advice on how to cope?

I saw an osteopath to sort mine out. She was very good and it only took 2 sessions. I was in severe pain, feeling very sorry for you Flowers

Not too sure if this is what I'm having at moment.

I'm only 10+6 but when I lie on my left side like normal during sleep I have a deep ache in my thigh bone that stays for five minutes or so then goes away as long as I roll over etc.

Doesn't hurt any other time than that but jeez 😣

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and have had a pain in my right arse cheek for nearly two weeks, so annoying!! Phoned midwife and nurse at doctors said to take 2x 500mg paracetamol and use deep heat, does ease it a bit, only take the paracetamol when I'm totally fed up lol x

I have sciatica too and it started getting really bad a couple of years ago. I started doing yoga (just short youtube videos) a couple of times a week and that's pretty much cured it! I notice if I miss a couple of weeks for sure! You need to be careful with some of the moves when you're pregnant though but there are lots of videos by yoga instructors designed for first trimester.
