Just as title says really. Bleeding when I wipe, pink with dots of red. None in toilet or underwear and in no pain. Pregnancy test at doctors still positive but I can not help but think the worst. Do miscarriages always come with pain and how long should I wait before taking another test? I’m so upset right now.

You need to contact your local early pregnancy unit. They'll be able to do a scan and tell you what's going on Flowers

Sadly you can continue to get positive test results for weeks after mc so tests are pretty much meaningless in this situation.

Doctors spoke to EPU and they said see how I am on Monday. Going to be a very long and sad weekend.

Sorry you are going through this.
I had this during both of my pregnancies at a similar time and it's so worrying.

Did your GP refer you for a blood test? They can check how high your hcg hormone levels are. The test then has to be repeated a few days later. In an ongoing pregnancy the numbers are supposed to roughly double each day if I remember rightly.

I would definitely push for a scan even if the bleeding stops as it's the only way if knowing for sure what's happening.

Fingers crossed for you. I went on to have two babies who are now 2 and 5 so don't assume the worst.

Yeh I had that throughout my period never had an explanation for it, but every time it happened I went to maternity hospital. They said it was possibly my cervix opening and a low lying placenta.
It is very traumatic, and in the last trimester I put on bed rest.

Fingers crossed everything goes well for you.

So sorry you are going though something so horrible .
My experiances are first time i bled i lost our baby . I was 8 weeks gone and was bleeding on and off lightly then a big bleed .
Second time i was pregnant i spotted loads throughout pregnancy . Couldnt relax for a second ! However we have a beautiful little girl .
Awful thing i found is its all out of your control :/
I hope your situation is like my second . Good luck Flowers

I've bled early during both my pregnancies. One ended in a MMC the other one my little girl who is now 9 months old. It's horrible waiting to find out what is going on but it's actually very common to bleed early on and with me they could never find a reason why. Hope the weekend passes quickly for you Thanks

I had this for most of the first trimester in my second pregnancy. He's now a healthy 3yr old. I know it's such a worry. Hopefully the appt at the EPU will go well for you. I was forever going to the bathroom to "check". FWIW my first pregnancy ended in a MMC and there was no bleeding / spotting at all

Hello, just want to say I had this Wednesday morning and I was convinced I was losing baby. I’m 7 weeks too, I hope up with a bleed - not massive but not small either - and felt like all my other symptoms had disappeared, my boobs had been sore every day and were suddenly grand. I was convinced I was out. Went to doctors, sent to epu, scanned... and all perfectly fine! Honestly it was the worst 8 hours thinking my baby was gone or going. I’d never bled before and it completely shook me.

My advice is try getting a scan privately tomorrow as I don’t think you’ll be able to not worry until you are scanned.

The bleed I had was a subchorionic haematoma - common apparently - maybe look it up so you can see there are good outcomes!! Apparently 90% of bleeds are of this nature. Keep hold of hope and get a scan ASAP to give yourself some reassurance xxx

@Hopeful4444 Hey just wanted to let you know you're not going through this alone. I've had the same as you - pink discharge with some red streaks on and off for almost two weeks now. I got referred to the EPU last week, thought I was 7+4 but they could only see gestational sac and yolk sac so I'm going back on Monday. I'm crossing everything my dates are out, but the discharge still worries me massively. I was told by the doctor and EPU that it can be normal, but it's hard not to worry isn't it? @WillowB thats so reassuring to hear you experienced it and have two healthy children.
Stay positive chick and try and see your EPU. Let us know what happens x

THANK you all for your positive messages and reasureance, no bleeding overnight and still no pain so trying to take that as a positive but still going to try and get a scan to ease my mind x
