Does anyone have any experience of Derby Royal Hospital?
It's likely to be where I end up giving birth, if I get that far.
I'm leaning towards an elcs as am likely to be induced early and I know that's a higher risk of still birth, EMCS and other problems for mum.

Any xperiences appreciated.

Does anyone know if partners stay overnight?
If so I might need to look for elsewhere as I won't be comfortable or able to sleep with strange men hanging around.

I gave birth to my son at Derby, and I'll be there again this time too. Likely to be an ELCS this time, seeing consultant next month to discuss.
But my experience was pleasant enough, it is what it is really and probably just depends on your delivery.

Sister gave birth there recently and no her partner wasn’t allowed to stay the night. Think she had only good things to say about the whole experience and said the staff were all really nice
