Need help with maternity allowance

Unsure of where to ask this, so thought I'd pop it in here.

Have just been told by work I am not entitled to maternity pay and I need to apply for maternity allowance. I need to provide 13 weeks payslips over my test period.

Can I include payslips where I've been paid hours and some holiday pay (e.g. Worked sat, mon and holidays on wed and thurs) Or do they have to be hours worked only that week? Anyone know?

You can provide any payslips you want. But your maternity allowance amount is based on your earnings. You get £140.98 a week or 90% of your average weekly earnings, which ever is less. So if you get paid annual leave and your earnings for that week is well above £140.98, then that should be fine. I would probably avoid using payslips from weeks where your earnings are low, as that might mean they reduce your MA payments, if that makes sense. I definitely had holiday and sick days in the payslips I submitted, but as they're both paid, it didn't change my overall earnings. If it was say, unpaid leave, then that would be different.
