3rd pregnancy, I'm 29+2 and for the last 3 days i feel like I'm walking with a bowling ball between my legs. I don't remember this feeling until the last week with ds1 and ds2 was prem so never had it at all on him.

Is it quite normal would you say?

At nearly thirty weeks s/he will be big enough to put that kind of pressure on you when s/he’s down low. I wouldn’t worry but if you are just contact your midwife to have a quick check Flowers

I had it right at the end of my last pregnancy but from about 32 weeks this time. This won’t be helpful but in my case the bowling ball has just got heavier and heavier over time and I’ve now got that lovely pregnancy waddle thing going on - so if you were hoping it’s one of those short-lived phases that wears off after a day or two, you might need adjust your expectations Grin

Bugger, its hard enough keeping up with a 3 and 2 year old without waddling Grin. Ahh well, just glad it's a normal feeling. I thought it would likely be to do with him lying low, hes also 'in the correct position' so i guess he's moving in and out of my pelvis. Thanks ladies for the reassurance.

I was just googling this this morning! I sat up in bed this morning and was really uncomfortable as felt like I had just sat on a bowling ball, describes it exactly! I had to waddle to the loo try and wee and wiggle to see if I could get it to move. It feels better not like the bowling ball so assuming is popping in and out! I am 31 weeks I was surprised it's done this so early! It is my second baby but my first was an undiagnosed breech and was breech the entire time and I never felt anything like this so took me by surprise a bit! I have also felt like every time I sit I desperately need to wee even when I don't! I assume this is all good signs this baby is actually in the correct position?? And little peed off this could last for weeks and weeks more!!

I’ve had growth scans so I know baby is definitely in position, so assume it’s just one of those things that happens when baby is in the right place (and earlier on after first pregnancies). I only had it for a week or so first time- thought that was long enough!

So glad its not just me! These babies like to make their presence known don't they.
