im early pregnant, probably about 7 weeks and have just had some very light brown spotting

I had bleeding at 6 weeks which lasted until I was about 10 weeks. Very scary especially b/c I was crampy until around 9 weeks. I didn't have high hopes when it started especially cus it was bright red blood, not brown like they say is the type that's less worrying. However, thankfully all's been fine and it stopped at approx 10 weeks like I said and hasn't returned. I'm in my sixth month now and everything's going great, thank god!! So try not to worry b/c it can indeed be fine. Altho it's scary, it is very common to bleed in early pregnancy but you should get checked out at an EPU and get yourself booked for a scan and then you can put your mind at ease and know for sure what's going on. I hope everything will be ok. Good luck and try not to worry too much

Yes, I had about a 24-hr period where I had a fair bit of (fortunately) brown spotting at around 8 weeks. Thankfully no more after that. I phoned midwife who reassured me that so long as the blood stayed brown & didn't become bright red or have large clots everything should be grand- so didn't need to have an early scan or anything. I'm now 27 weeks gone & all is fine! I didn't bleed AT ALL with DS1 so it did freak me out a little...but sounds very common & not necessarily bad news xx

i did with my 2nd didn't realise i was pg and thought it was my period starting .. had 3 days (quite heavy) found out a month later i was nearly 4 months pg

yes, bled for about 4 days at around the 6/7 week time. Had a scan, baby was fine. Doc said something about it wasn't the baby bleeding, it was a sac of blood in the womb (that prob isn't quite right, but I was to relieved to pay much attention!)
The 'baby' is now 4!

I had spotting with both DS and this pg. In fact when I started spotting with middle pg I assumed it would all be fine as I had had it with DS. It quickly progressed to more than spotting though.

I bled for 10 days with dd at about 6 weeks and all was fine I've had 5 miscarriages after her and between dc's and also bled at about 7 weeks with ds1 and 11 weeks with ds2.

i did with two of mine. they are now 8 and 4 yrs respectively. if you are worried you could go to EPAU. (sorry if thats already been mentioned. only read OP )

had spotting on two different days when 5 wks with this pg and all fine now 19 wks pg. It was red blood as well.

Good luck, it is a good sign that the spotting has stopped.

I bled on and off all the way through my first pregnancy and had a beautiful boy. They say you spot more with boys anyway.....also, they picked up that I had a urinary infection which made me bleed so it's maybe that - it's not always a bad thing; try and hang on till Monday and you'll be much more reassured. good luck
