Pain in the left side of stomach/belly

Hello guys,

I am 4 weeks 6 days today (as per all the calculators) and suddenly since yesterday have been experiencing mild pain on the left side of stomach/belly. It's not exactly on the abdomen.
Other than that been experiencing normal abdominal (lower) cramps and lower back. Not experiencing any bleeding or anything. Though have clear watery discharge often. It's sixth day since my missed period.

But suddenly worried with this particular left side pain.

This is my first pregnancy and am big worrier. Have you had any experiences ? Should I be contacting the doctor ?

Yeah perhaps it is like a mild stitch. Wouldn't say "pain" as yet. Just hoping it's all ok.

I had cramping and back pain when I was 5.5 weeks and ended up calling 111 after suffering for 5 or so hours. They sent me to my GP who then referred me to the Early Pregnancy Unit. However, all was fine! I'm currently 27 weeks and unfortunately had cramps and pains all the way through this pregnancy.
Hopefully its nothing, but if you're worried, no harm in calling 111 and asking for some advice x

@ForeverHopeful21 I do get occasional mild cramps every now and then. But since this was specifically on the left I got paranoid. Hopefully it's nothing. And it's still mild. If it grows I should definitely seek help.

I had the same when I was v early I think it's things stretching down there.Doesn't stop u worrying though!

Hi! Is the cramping similar to period pin? If so I have had it all the way through my pregnancy and I'm 15 weeks pregnant, it's normal and is often the stretching of your ligaments making room for the baby I've been told! I've had a bad time with my pregnancy having had gastroenteritis very early on in my pregnancy and I've had over 6 water infections but what you seem to be describing seems normal although the pain in the left side of your stomach I would suggest ringing the Early Pregnancy assessment unit in your hospital to ask them for their advice or to settle your mind go to the closest walk in centre. Congratulations by the way! Fantastic news and try not to worry too much without speaking to a professional first to get checked over.
