Best place to buy maternity jeans please

Is anyone else having trouble finding a really nice comfy pair of maternity jeans? All the shops near me seem to only sell maternity stuff online which I'm finding really annoying. I ordered a couple of pairs from Next and they are going back as they are too short (despite bei g long length). I had a look at Gap but they are all skinny jeans which my legs don't fit into at the best of times let alone when I'm pregnant and the 'real straight' fit (which I usually buy my non-maternity jeans in) aren't in my size. I'm 20 weeks now and still wearing my normal jeans with the button open at the top but it isn't comfortable. I need some jeans...nice jeans! Where do you get yours from? Preferably somewhere I can go and try them on not just order online.

The best I had were from George (Asda), none in store but you can click and collect and try on and return immediately

H&M. Most stores seem to have a small maternity section.

I second H&M I lived in them.

Newlook ones are great. Im a all bum and thighs type build.

I bought mine from Asos. I know you don't want online, but they do free delivery over £15 and free postal returns so not too bad. I tend to buy a few different sizes at once then send back anything that doesn't fit.

Think I paid £25 for mine and have been in them since 10 weeks. I'm now 27 weeks and they still fit perfectly (I bought the Ridley style). They also do them in tall length.

I am tall so found H&M quite bad for jeans. Asos ones are good though.

SecretLimonadeDrinker · 16/01/2018 19:04

Mine were H&M too.

I got some great ones from new look.

I'm in the same situation and have very recently bought a couple of pairs of H&M ones, skinny though. Completely agree you need to try them on.

Have been wearing some from Mothercare, very comfortable and stretchy.

Topshop Leigh are the only ones I can tolerate. My local shop often has some in stock but you can click and collect in store. I just get my usual size (which usually doesn't fit in Topshop!)

Definitely H&M. I wear the super skinny high rib ones. I usually have to get 34” leg length in jeans but they only come in one length which fit me fine. They are really soft and comfy though I’m finding now at 24 weeks that the over the bump band dosent stay up anymore so I’m wearing them more like under the bump ones.

harrietm87 · 16/01/2018 21:10

Another vote for H&M here. I got the super soft stretch ones and they were pretty cheap as well. I'm 5'7 and they were fine length wise for me.

PandaCat · 16/01/2018 21:39

I bought some a black pair from asda (well george) online for £10. Very comfy.

Kittypillar · 16/01/2018 21:44

One more vote for H&M. Tried several other places for jeans and none of them were nearly as good a fit/comfy.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 17/01/2018 09:23

Thanks all. Will try H&M and some other places. The zip on my normal jeans broke this morning so I think it's definitely time!

I bought some Paige ones from eBay. I got them shortened to my height. But they're under bump and I hate how they feel they're falling down. I've instead used those expanders and use my normal jeans but I do need long tops as zip is open
