Hi. Im currently 9 and a half weeks pregnant, I've had problems with bleeding since 7 weeks and have been told its due to a haematoma - probably as a result of an implantation bleed. Has anyone else had a similar thing to this?? At my last scan they said the haematoma was getting bigger and im not sure this is a good prognosis??? Any thoughts/experiences or advice greatly appreciated as im worrying constantly. thansk

I had an haematoma when I was pg with DD3, bled on-off for about 6wks IIRC then I was fine 'til the birth when I bleed again (not sure if it's related). Mine didn't get bigger, I had to have a scan each time the bleeding stopped then started again, think it was biggest at the first scan. But they said it had nothing to do with the baby but that they would still give me the leaflet on 'threatened mc'.
HTH, if you want to know more just shout.

I had one at the beginning of this pregnancy. I never bled, but the doctor told me no sex, no heavy lifting, etc. If you take it easy it should clear up on it's own. Apparently it is a really common problem in pregnancy. Mine was found at 7 weeks, went for a second ultrasound at 9 weeks when a fibroid was found, by 12 weeks they had both disappeared.

Good luck and take it easy.
