Hi all!

My beloved SIL is expecting. I have bought lots of baby stuff etc but I also want to put together a really nice gift basket full of goodies for my SIL. I know there will be lots of focus on the new baby and I want her to feel appreciated as well!

If anyone is expecting or has had a baby, do you have any ideas of stuff I could include? so far I've thought of the following:

Lovely soft pjs

Fancy hand cream

A really posh brand of dry shampoo I know she likes

Non-taxing books (she's a big reader)

Thanks for any suggestions you have!

Badedas or lavender oil for bathing in. Nipple cream. Naice biscuits and chocolates in small packets. Water bottle that stays really cold. Thermos mug!!

I had a c section and could not bath for a while so be carefully about bubble bath. One of my friend bought me some lovely shower gel.

What a lovely thing to do.

Hand cream is a great idea, as is a nice hand hygiene gel.

How about including some foods that she hasn’t been able to eat whilst pregnant (assuming she likes them)? I was desperate for some unpasteurised cheese and pate plus they are handy for quick snacks in the hectic first few weeks.

I’d second a good cold drinks bottle or hot lidded cup, depending on her liking! It’s nice to have a hot or cold drink within easy reach (and less likely to anoint babies head with it!)
