Which co-sleeper?

We're looking at getting a side sleeper but are unsure of which one to get. The Snuzpod sounds ideal as the side can be put up and down whilst the crib is attached to the bed, however I've read that it's quite small compared to others.

Anybody know of any others that can also be put up and down whilst attached?

I really hated our snuzpod. DD was an awful fidget and the wooden frame creaked so loudly, was bloody irritating.

I'm expecting ds in a few weeks and will be buying a second hand Chicco next to me with a brand new mattress, we sold the snuzpod as soon as DD was transitioned to her cot at around 7 months.

We have the snuzpod and really liked it until we found mould on the bottom of the mattress after just 4 months use. We had always aired it etc but a quick Google suggests others have had the same problem

I really liked the chicco next to me too. I’m planning on using it with he sleepyhead this time to make it a bit more snug for a newborn, but the good size meant my first daughter slept in it until 7 months.

I have the next to me dream which I love, we did have the issue above that it was quite spacey and wouldn't settle so got a sleepyhead and was fine in that, but I plan to keep her in my room longer than 6 months so to me it was a good investment as we didn't buy a Moses

Hi!
If anyone is thinking about getting the Tutti Bambini, Mothercare has got £30 discount on it, taking into account they've got exclusivity of it it's not taken me long to place the order :) It's only in the grey colour tho www.mothercare.com/cribs/tutti-bambini-cozee%C2%AE-bedside-crib---charcoal/244783.html

@DaisyLand We were in mothercare today looking at buggies and saw there was money off and snapped one up. Looked at that, the next2me and the Snuzpod and that's the one I would have chose regardless of the offer so happy with that. They were out of stock of bedding so will have to get that online. Do you know if it's only Tutti Bambin bedding that fits it?

I’m not sure about the bedding. I was looking and some of the snuzpod fitted ones I believe fit as well but I’ve not looked much into it. I didn’t get any today I still have time to order them online

Glad to hear you got your sleeper.

We had a rented bed nest last time and will be getting one again. It was really handy being able to send it back after 6 months rather than trying to sell it or find storage space!

@DaisyLand I looked on the Mothercare website before at the Tutti Bambini sheets and there are some bad reviews saying that they are too small. I might have a look around and try and get some a little bigger and cheaper too!
