It's pretty impossible... isn't it?

So I feel silly even asking this, but you know how it is when you get an idea in your head!
So I have the copper coil, and since having it in, my periods have been like clockwork and very heavy. Period just gone started on Sunday 31st December and ended on Friday 5th January, but it was very light and not properly red, more brownish. Sorry tmi.
Anyway, the past 7 days, I've been so nauseous and I've been throwing up at least everyday, while feeling okay 'in myself' if you see what I mean? That being said, I fainted last night for no apparent reason.
Also, I was getting mild cramps at the start of last week.
I've done a test, a couple of days ago, maybe Thursday maybe Friday, and it came back negative so I went to the doctors today and they are absolutely stumped.
I'd be over the moon if I was pregnant, so maybe I'm reading too much into it, but any thoughts would be appreciated! It's pretty unlikely isn't it?

Can you test again tomorrow morning?

Soonest I'll be able to test now is Wednesday 😬 Just trying to gauge some opinions, getting some ideas out of my head!

Can you still feel the strings of the coil? If it's still in there the chances of pregnancy are very low, but if you did become pregnant you would have a high chance of miscarrying.

I would request an HCG blood test to definitively rule out pregnancy, because on the small chance that you are you need the IUD removed ASAP.

I think I can still feel he strings, which makes me think it's unlikely but I felt there were just a few coincidences! I'm probably reading too much into it
