Woken up this morning with a rash all over my chest and tummy - looks like I’ve slept on a bed of needles. Not raised, and not itchy. Spots get darker and more concentrated near my nipples (apologies so early in the morning!)

I’m 21+4, normal pregnancy so far. Have been exhausted for a couple of weeks but have a toddler so that’s normal, and I’ve got a heavy cold at the moment.

Any ideas? Anyone had the same?

It might be PUPPS (although a bit early for that) and it might be a nonspecific viral rash from your cold, or a mild allergic reaction to something.

If you aren't itchy, feel reasonably well apart from the cold and can breathe OK it's probably not much to worry about, but you can go to your GP for a check (I'd probably go to a GP over a midwife for this).

Thank you - exactly what I wanted to hear! I agree GP over midwife. Going to try and get some rest today and see what happens. If it goes down happy days but if not I’ll call for a GP appointment.
