Cot Bed Mattresses

Are Mamas & Papas cot beds slightly smaller than standard?
The Mamas and Papas website said they are to fit Mamas & Papas mattresses (139 x 69cm) but every where else seems to have 140 x 70cm as standard size.
Has anyone used a none M&P mattress in a M&P cot bed? Did it fit ok?

I got an Ikea cot and an Ikea mattress and they're all 60x120cm. I thought that was the standard size!

Cot bed is bigger than a cot so mattress size will be bigger too

I have little green sheep 140x70 mattress in a M&P (think it's Lucia?).

A 140 x 70 will fit.

It might be slightly tight but it will fit.

A friend gave us Mamas and Papas cot bed and we bought a Mothercare cotbed mattress in the more standard dimensions.

We have had no problems at all.
