Hello, I am 14 weeks pregnant and had w rough few months of sickness, I first vomited at 17dpo, I wasn’t sick every day but I had constant nausea from waking up until I fell asleep at night, now that I’m 14 weeks it’s wearing off a little and seams to only be in the evenings I feel sick and or vomit.... I feel quite normal the rest of the time except this strange thing where I can only eat small meals, it’s almost like my stomach has shrunk and won’t accept much food, I’m loosing weight because of this. Does anyone know if morning sickness can cause stomach issues like this?

I was the same when I was pregnant with DD. I started making myself much smaller portions than DH because I knew I either couldn't finish my food or I'd be sick.
Fortunately it got better as the morning sickness subsided, unfortunately I was in the 2nd/3rd trimester at that point and felt like I was about to die if I ate a large meal because the baby was pushing on my stomach Grin

Most definitely. I have a gastric sleeve and 70% of my stomach is gone so when I'm sick it's horrible bile and whatever little I've eaten that comes up. Now remember your stomach looks like a long saggy banana and it can move and shrink/expand etc as that's how the muscles help move food around etc.

Lots of small bland meals, avoid dairy if needed as that can make your stomach go bleurgh and keep hydrated as your stomach needs the liquids back.
