Essential oils in pregnancy

I’m wanting to use oils or a scented candle when practising relaxation techniques and then have the oil whilst in labour. Does anyone know if there’s any oils you’re meant to avoid in pregnancy or any that they would recommend?

My ideal would be a matching candle and oil to cover my bases but that may be ambitious!

Candle oils are synthetic so pointless for aromatherapy properties but can make you feel nice if that makes sense.

Don't touch Clary sage until 37 weeks but its helpful for labour and some gentle natural induction if in an oilburner or bath.

Lavender is fine in 3rd trimester. As is mandarin, frankensense and ylang ylang.
