So I went to my appointment today I should be 11 w and 6d but baby is big and his measure was 12w 1d baby was moving around but doctor found a little space between cervix and the baby and my cervix L was 3.4cm he said everything was good but he also mention it can be a early funneling!! Should I need to be scared of it or no? Anyone had the same?

Did they explain exactly what that meant? It means the top of the cervix starts to open slightly so it resembles a funnel. Did they say they would monitor it? Your cervix length is still absolutely fine so don't worry about that for now. They should keep monitoring you though because if it happens more and your cervix shortens considerably then they may insert a cervical cerclage (like a stitch) to keep your cervix closed and baby safe.

This happened to me but I didn't know about it and I gave birth at 24 weeks (my little boy unfortunately didn't survive more than a few hours) but no one knew that this was going to happen. Please don't think you should worry, if they know about it and are monitoring you then you will be ok! They will be able to prevent anything. Saying that, it may stay as it is which wouldn't be a problem for you!!

If they're going to keep checking then that's exactly what you want and will put your mind at ease! I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and I will see the consultant after my scan next week to organise having the stitch put in at 14 weeks.

You are very lucky that the medical team have spotted this, I wish you the best in your pregnancy! Please let me know how you get on! Most of all, don't worry, now they know they will make sure they keep your baby safe! Smile
