I'm just 20 weeks but getting quite a lot of tummy pain today. Trying to chill and think it is either the BH coming along early (??) or maybe just a bit of a UTI. I did have to have a full bladder for 2hrs on tues for scan with lots of partial emptyings which can't be good for my poor bladder!

Hiya Floss

Mine started at around 18/19 weeks and were also quite painful then.

A full bladder can trigger BHs too.

If you have a UTI I would get it checked out

FlossALump · 26/04/2007 10:39

I'll do a dipstick at work on Sat. No other UTI symptoms as yet but I know they don't always have the same symptoms in pg.

Could someone explain quickly what they are like? Because I've had a couple of odd occasions where my stomach bulges and goes very firm all of a sudden but it isn't my whole bump, just below my belly button. Could that be BH?

Tutter · 26/04/2007 13:45

can't really remember from ds1 what they feel like

but am now 27+4 and my bump went rock hard earlier today

I felt much better yesterday and so far today. Relieved to see that it may well be the BH though!
