Mumbling groaning in sleep

Hi

I'm 12 weeks pregnant today and have a head cold. The past 3 nights or so I've started mumbling almost groaning as I've been falling asleep. My oh has started sleeping in the spare room as it disturbs him. He recorded it last night it sounds strange.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to stop it?

Thanks!

Yes, it's pretty normal when you have a cold or chest infection. It's just it's hard to breathe and you make weirder noises when you first drift off to sleep and your breathing deepens. You can sometimes make so much noise that you wake yourself up. I find it tends to happen most when I sleep on my back, so maybe try on your side until the congestion clears up. It's not to do with pregnancy really. It happens to me most times I have a lot of congestion.

Thanks for that. That's really reassuring. Am feeling a bit upset that my oh doesn't want to sleep with me. Hopefully it'll all clear up soon xx
