Hi I am 7 weeks pregnant, I have had on and off back ache since I found out I was pregnant I put that down to things changing and expanding down there but I hadn't had much in the last week or so had my 6 week scan which was all normal which I'm relieved, but last night I had back ache again not severe just a dull ache across my lumber area most of the night does anyone else have this at 7 weeks is it normal? Or should I be worried that's it's come back again?

@Winterfellismyhome did you have it when you were 7 weeks? So hard not to worry about everything 😔

Unfortunately back pain tortured me throughout my pregnancies.
You are right, ligaments relax and you get aches and pain in the oddest places. All horribly normal apparently.
I tried to concentrate on my posture, sitting and standing, ended up seeing a physio for advice on exercises and how to minimise long term damage.
Paracetamol is all you can take.

@jimijack did you get it this early on? In pregnancy.

@Helen290 nah mine was on and off. Most i had it for was two days in a row. Maybe see GP if you're worried x

I rang fertility and they weren't too helpful she said it can be normal but if it's persistent then to ring back but it has been all of last night then this morning do you think I should ring back again?

I would

I rang not massively helpful cause I had a scan Monday and everything was fine they want rescan again so soon I have another one in just over a week anyway but she said it can be normally as long as it's not really painful, which didn't make me feel better, it has gone then come back when I'm sitting I wonder if it's my posture nothing I can do I guess but wait and see I just hope everything is ok 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
