Finding it difficult to breathe deeply

Hi, I’m currently 21 weeks and finding it difficult to take deep breaths. When I do I’m met with discomfort/tightness in the top of my stomach and bottom of my lungs. Is this normal so early on?! My stomach is massive (I grow super quickly) but I’ve not had this feeling so early before.
Could something be wrong ? Confused I’m in quite a panic about it

I found this very problematic in one of my pregnancies and it seemed to be caused by the babies position and carrying higher than previously. My rib cage seemed to have expanded more too.

I had to get extenders for my bras as the tightness of the band was awful and made me feel as if I couldn't breathe (although the band was the correct size in terms of measurements).

So, not necessarily iffy, but as it's to do with breathing definitely checked out asap. Midwife would tell you to go the GP as its a potentially medical issue.

Don't panic though, even if it's a thing, it doesn't automatically mean serious. It's most likely to be simple (but annoying) pregnancy discomfort.

Thank you for the reply Flowers . I led down after I made this post and propped my belly up and it stopped mostly, I felt baby moving around a lot and then it stopped completely and I could take deep breaths again.
I think you were right, it must have been babies position - it just felt awful! I’ve carried far up with my previous two but this little guy is waaay further up
