Hcg rising AFTER miscarriage.

Hi, I’m new to this but was wondering if anybody had a similar experience.

I started miscarrying last week around 7 weeks

Hi sorry, I’m new to this, I started miscarrying last week at 7weeks.
I had a blood test hcg was over 400, can’t remember exact number.
Two days later it rose to over 600 so had to have another scan, everything was clear, nothing to be seen. I bled for 8 days and got
Called in for another scan and blood test today to check hcg has gone down. It is now 1400, but again nothing on scan.

So now they have called me back tomorrow. Has anybody had a similar experience im very confused?

I had rising hcg after a miscarriage - my numbers were much lower than yours though. At first, the doctors were concerned about ectopic but two scans confirmed there was nothing there. In the end, I saw a consultant who gave me a scrape and they finally dropped. It was very stressful and confusing in what is already such an emotional time.

Very confused too because they said my uterus is empty so do not need d+c.
This is fourth scan now in a week and they still have no idea what is going on.
Hopefully I find out tomorrow. I’m panicking they have missed an eptopic or something.
