I'm currently 40 weeks (2 days overdue) and I had a successful s&s on my due date (9th) where she found I was nearly 3cm dilated already. That afternoon, I had back pain & bad cramping contractions etc. I had a bath, and they stopped. I've tried various things since then to try and get things going again. I've had a 'show' but that was on the 9th. This evening, I have severe pain in my back on the right hand side and a few tightening but not a lot else happening. I've read that you can get contractions in your back, and this is what this feels like. Making me feel very nauseous too! Anyone else felt these pains?!
