Has anyone had a surgical abortion .. is it painful?

I had a termination done at 17 weeks due to medical reasons. It was surgical and under general anaesthetic.
Not painful at all physically.

this will be local anaesthetic not general

If you look under ‘body and soul’ there’s a specific board for abortion, called pregnancy choices (deliberately vague to stop trolls I think). Hopefully you can get some advice there, paz?
