Has anyone used anti colic bottles and which ones would you recommend?
My son had so much trouble up until he was 4 months, the majority of his bottles came back up and he used to cry and cry.
so this time around I'm thinking of buying anti colic bottles so any advice would be great please!
TIA x

The MAM ones have been recommended to me.

RosieCotton · 10/01/2018 11:30

The mam self sterilising one where the only ones that helped my colic baby. Not only where they amazing but self sterilising so I didn't have to wash tonnes and set off a whole steriliser, if he was fussy simply 3 minutes in microwave to sterilise and it was good to go. They are the only ones I'd ever recommend to anyone xx

Tommee tippee r supposed to be but I can tell u how good they are

Chaosofcalm · 10/01/2018 14:51

I second the MAM bottles.

mommybear1 · 10/01/2018 14:59

Dr Browns - highly recommend had no wind issues and several friends have also used these without issue. Can't comment on mam ones I'm afraid never used them.

I've actually ordered a pack of 3 MAM bottles because they are on offer so I'm glad I've ordered them now! I didn't realise they self sterilise! That's brilliant.
I'm considering getting a mix of dr browns and MAM. Do you think I should mix them or stick to one brand?
Thanks for the replies! X

Used Tommee Tippee with first LO. She had awful wind, colic, reflux etc. Used mam with second LO and not had a single problem. Did switch milk as well to hipp organic which is meant to help tummy troubles so could be that that helped. Either way highly recommend mam bottles.

Chaosofcalm · 10/01/2018 17:09

You can try more than one but as the teats are different I would not mix them.

We used (and still do) TT bottles, but went through a stage log lots of wind and struggling to get milk down. At this point we used Dr browns and the problem went away. I’d highly recommend. People say they don’t like them as there’s lots of pets but there’s exactly as many parts as a TT anti-colic bottle.

Used MAM and never looked back.

Self sterilizing are amazing ones and so easy to clean etc - they normally have a sale on in their website so have a wee look.

Bananarama12 · 10/01/2018 19:28

Dr Brown's have been amazing for us. Highly recommend

Bananarama12 · 10/01/2018 19:29

And Hipp organic milk

mommybear1 · 10/01/2018 21:56

We also found Hipp Organic to be the best one both for less wind and constipation Blush

emilyjayne1990 · 11/01/2018 17:21

I've had a look on the MAM website and they have 25% off at the minute so I'm going to order the starter pack.
Thanks for the advice on the milk too, I was thinking about using different milk this time. We used Aptamil last time as advised by the health visitors. I'll have a look at the hipp organic! X
