Anyone else wakes up with very sore hips ? I’m mid pregnancy and sleep with the body pillow with it betw the legs but still very painful the moment I open my eyes

Not just in the morning! It’s pelvic girdle pain most likely and I’m really suffering now I’m 38 weeks!

Yes, unfortunately it's a side effect of sleeping on your side and just generally being pregnant. Lots of hip and pelvic stretches, hip circles, and regular activity (walking or swimming as many days a week as you can) helps.

Yep, it wakes me up at night. It's an absolute bugger and all you want to do is roll onto your back for relief!!

Yes, another one here. I had a hip problem (that wasn't constant but would flare up from time to time pre pregnancy) and I have had real problems this time (29 weeks). I blame some of it on lying on my side...but if I lie on my good hip then not so bad. Hate lying on my side as this isn't my natural sleeping position (back or front). Off to see a physio in just over a week who specialises in this type of thing...hope its not just exercises but some actual massage/manipulation involved!
