Dying my hair?!?

So I'm 13 weeks 3 days and I've had mixed replies about this one from friends and google... can you dye your hair while pregnant or is it a big no no ? I haven't done it since but my hair is a state and really does need doing. I completely understand if I can't as I wouldn't cause any damage to the baby on purpose just curious?

I wouldn't be seen dead without dying mine. I have done throughout both pregnancies.

Just don't 😂 My hair is naturally mousy brown and I have been dying it black since I can remember so you can only imagine what my roots look like 13 weeks down the line can't you😩

I'm a hair stylist and have dyed mine through any pregnancy. If clients are preg I normally recommend a skin test 1st tho never had anyone react diff and only thing I'm extremely reluctant to do is full head bleaching

I read that's its perfectly finish to dye hair. A hairdresser herself told me its safe to do as well.
Congratulations on your pregnancy

I dyed my hair roughly at 4mths, used same dye for last 20yrs (always black) so knew it was ok sadly i suffered chemical burns on scalp, neck and ears quote bad. Not sure if it was an hormonal issue or a bad dye patch but took weeks to heal :( im now 34 weeks and top of head practically grey but want to do something before bubs gets here. Considering either a wash in 1 or a spray until after birth. This my 4th baby and only 1st reaction so id deffo recommend a skin test just in case

Stop! I didn't even know this was a real thing.

My hair is bright blonde I dye it jet black. I would look horrific after nine months of reverse ombré.
