Hi... I am 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant I also have pcos I'm just slightly worried of the chances of a miscarriage with me having pcos. My midwife has said to me because I have pcos I am considered high risk Pregnancy which I'm slightly worried about now

I too have PCOS I have 1DS and ds#2 due in 9 weeks! Both my pregnancies were high risk but that is due to my bmi! So far I've had no issues what so ever! There's a risk with any pregnancy for miscarriage!

I spouse that true... It's my first pregnancy im just slightly anxious. I have googled about being pregnant with pcso and the stuff I'm reading is scaring me even more 😭

Step away from google!! I did the exact same with ds1!! In the end I learnt to just relax and enjoy being pregnant! This time round I've not really thought about it! And it's flown by! To the point I haven't even thought about packing my hospital bags yet 😬🙈

I am going to now. It's the worst thing I can do. I'm just going to relax and take it easy. Are you due on? cx

There is a risk with every pregnancy and miscarriage and I was told in 2014 that due to PCOS I would never have kids - that november I had my daughter and I'm currently 9+2 with my second.

For PCOS there is a risk only due to BMI if it's high or other complications due to the PcOS but nothing special.

You'll probably be under consultant care if you were at an infertility clinic at the hospital but imho it's great fun as you get to meet people directly involved in the care.

Keep an eye on your folic acid and VitD and B12 but just enjoy it.

I’ve got pcos and 27 w tomorrow. As others have mentioned risk is with bmi. Saying that me and my sister suffer From pcos I’m bmi 29 and she’s around bmi 20. So each person/body is different

Congrats !

I have PCO and the midwives said my risk of miscarriage wasn't any higher because of this. My BMI is 19 so no worries there, I was classed as low risk throughout. I had a textbook pregnancy and birth. Try not to worry!

I have PCOS and 2 children and that didn’t make me high risk in either.

Shortfatandangry · 09/01/2018 18:22

I have 2 dc, pcos and had no issues.
