Hi all got a positive ovulation test on cycle day 6 - any of you successfully conceived this early? Thanks

I didn’t use tests to track my ovulation as I get a very distinctive and noticeable ovulation pain for approx 12 hours every month.. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. When I went for my scan at 12 weeks they moved my date by 10 days which would mean I conceived on day 4 of my cycle.. by my pain I would have assumed around day 8 but either way it’s earlier than expected!

Similar as above, wasn't tracking but dating scan put me a week ahead, and I am sure of my LMP date so assume it must be early ovulation!

Thank you both for your replies, that’s really interesting!

I ovulate quite early, CD7-8 usually and have conceived 5 times (one DS, currently 12w pg). I also have short cycles, but my luteal phase is around 14 days. I think this is more important (as in, a short luteal phase can be problematic)

Lifeofpies thanks for your reply, my LF is usually ok so fingers crossed 🤞

surely as long as you are ovulating there is the chance you will get pregnant? I used to ovulate around day 16-17 of a 28 day cycle, but I don't think that means your any more or less fertile.

I've conceived DD cd11, this little one is 15w and conceived Cd 9/10 ... Fairly early but long luteal...16 days. It's possible 😁👍

Hulaballoo · 09/01/2018 14:01

As long as your luteal phase isn't too short you'll be fine x

When I fell pregnant I ovulated much earlier than usual at cycle day 9 when it was usually 11-12. Am currently 24 weeks 😁
Good luck!!

When I was TTC and tracking, I used to ovulate between CD 9 and 11. I have 3 dc.

Hi, question for those who ovulate early. How long is your cycle? Mine used to be 30 ish days and ovulate about day 15/16. The last year cycle has shortened to 28 days but ovulate very early around day 10.

Blessing24 · 22/01/2024 02:46

Hey I have a 25 day cycle I ovulated on cycle day 9 currently waiting. I’ve been having abdominal pain since cycle day 8 on and off on the left side. Some days it hurts more than others. But today is cycle day 12 and it’s mild. I’ll update later

Hello,
I have an average cycle of 30 days. I had a m/c at around 7 wp in May of this year.. periods returned with 4-5 weeks and seem normal. Based on a 30 day cycle, I should ovulate on day 16/17. Took an ovulation test on day 12 and had a very faint line beneath the control dark line.. tested again on days 14,15,16 and all blank negative. Does this mean I more than likely ovulated early around the ‘faint line test on day 12,? Reason I ask is that I had unprotected sex on cycle day 9! Comments and advice welcome! Thanks

According to my due date, I ovulated 5 days earlier than expected which means I would have conceived during my period!

Currently 16 weeks pregnant.
