So...I am 6 weeks today I believe from my calculations.
Seeing Midwife next week.
I had 3 positives over the Christmas week but now I just don't feel pregnant and feel the need to do more tests!
Not had period, and feel a bit crappy and tired but nothing else really.

Been 7 years since I was pregnant and just kind of feel either the need to do more tests - but trying not to waste £10 a go, or am I actually?!?!

Anyone else feel in limbo land until get that scan?

I'm in the same position, my scan is on Thursday but I just don't feel pregnant. I was so poorly in all my previous pregnancies and while I have been vomiting all the time so far I just don't feel pregnant like I've imagined the whole thing.

I am the same, 6 weeks on weds. Have 2 dcs already and suffer hypermesis with both. Had a miscarriage last year with no symptoms. I am constantly worrying.....and thinking I know the outcome of this pregnancy. It's so stressful isn't it?

I'm the same, tired, no energy. Slightly sore boobs and odd cramps but absolutely nothing major.

Can you go for a scan because of this? I can't really afford to pay for a private scan at the min. Wondering if it's worth contacting the gp?

Hope you are both ok xx

Either book a private scan or buy some cheaper tests (amazon sell packs of 20 test strips for a few quid).

I don't know my dates for 100% so really hoping when I see Midwife she will send me for early scan and get that peace of mind that is is actually in there!

Guess would feel better if I was sick every morning or jsut felt something, think half of what I feel I don't know if I'm imagining it! Bit tired, boobs sore a tad and then feel like cramps so am knicker checking all the time! ;o(

Guess not long but it's mega stressful in the meantime! Might have to buy a load of cheap tests! Be worth it for peace of mind, although other half will think I'm bonkers! xx

Gemmafionadeeble - you sound exactly like me so I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I'm at the midwife on Friday so I'll be telling her everything then. Really keep my fingers crossed for you

I've done a test every few days, line comes up straight away and very dark strong line so I assumed that might be a good sign. Too scared to do a digital, did one when I found out at 1-2 weeks on 27/12. C

@Gemmafionadeeble this might not make you feel better, I worried too and not amount of reassuring seemed to work... but your symptoms reducing aren't necessarily cause for worry, so please don't panic yourself just yet.

I felt absolutely horrendous for the first few weeks after I found out I was pregnant (and actually had to have an early scan but that's whole other story!) and then my symptoms really tapered off around the 7 week mark. I spent a lot of time telling my DH that I thought something HAD to be wrong, why else would I feel normal-ish again etc... 12 week scan came around and everything was absolutely fine. I told the sonographer how worried I'd been and she said that it was completely normal to worry, everyone was different symptoms wise but there was "no point giving myself extra things to panic about when I'd had no real indication of bad news to go on." She had a point.

I'm not saying everything will absolutely definitely be fine, because we all know early pregnancy can be a risky time, whether you feel sick as anything or a-okay... but please don't convince yourself it's doomsday just yet. If you're really worried, please do talk to your GP or book yourself a private scan - it's better you do that if the alternative is just panicking for the next few weeks.

I went through this stage when I was pregnant a few weeks before my 12 week scan I just wasn't feeling pregnant anymore and was half expecting to go into my scan to be told I wasn't pregnant or the baby had died etc... I've now got a very healthy 14 month old. I think as the placenta starts to take over, it takes the pressure off your body a little. I think the first trimester is the worst as you can't feel anything etc but once you've seen the baby moving and wriggling around on the scan you'll know everything is fine and it'll put your mind at ease. Try not to worry!

BergamotMouse · 08/01/2018 14:46

If you are worried I would aim to try get an early scan just to ease your mind. I'm sure it will all be fine and lots of women have very few symptoms and go on to have healthy babies.

I wouldn't bother with doing any more tests. I don't feel like they give any accurate information on how the pregnancy is progressing - I recently had a miscarriage, had surgical management so nothing left inside and from that point it took me a further 3 weeks to get a negative test due to lingering pregnancy hormones. Not saying that to worry you - just hoping to save you money.

PandaEyes2 · 08/01/2018 14:47

I wouldn't waste money on more tests either Hun. If you've had a few positive tests and no bleeding I think you're safe. But I know I did 5 in total (all VERY strong positives and a digital 3+ lol). I know how hard the waiting is but just hang on in there for a few more weeks
