Possible ectopic pregnancy

Good morning.
I am 6+6 weeks pregnant (confirmed by multiple tests) and 7 days ago I had some spotting. A couple of red spots but mainly watery pink when wiping (sorry TMI). I have had no spotting since that day but have been getting cramps every day since. Sometimes they are so bad they bring me to tears. They are mainly at the bottom of my abdomen like really bad period pains but when I move I get sharp pains in my lower left abdomen. I am seeing the midwife in a couple of days but want to know whether I should get checked out sooner. I don’t want to waste the drs time if I’m being paranoid about nothing.
Thanks in advance

Sorry you're in pain OP.

I've had an ectopic that ruptured. I had to have emergency surgery so my advice will always be to get yourself seen asap. The pain I had was very sharp but not constant until it ruptured.

If it's nothing then at least you know but if there is a small chance that you're experiencing an ectopic the sooner they know, the better. Can you go to emergency room of your local maternity hospital?

Good luck.

Thank you for your reply.
My local hospital has a early pregnancy clinic but it is by appointment only so I would have to go to the main A&E I believe.
This is my first pregnancy so don’t know if I’m just experiencing normal pregnancy pains or if it’s something more.
Thanks again

I would definitely go get seen ASAP. Especially if it brings you to tears. And unfortunately spotting is another symptom. Don’t stress yourself but do not leave it. Good luck x

Thank you for your replies. I will go and see someone today

Yes go, I had a tube that ruptured so I reckon it’s always best to be on the safe side! I have prune juice coloured spotting and a sharp stabbing pain in my lower left abdomen. I also felt dizzy. Let us know how you get on xxx

Sometimes I think you can get a cyst in the ovary you ovulated from and it can cause some pains in that ovary in early pregnancy? So pleased for you though
