Maternity Allowance

Just wanted to know if anyone else could offer any advice really! I don't qualify for maternity pay as haven't been at my current job for long enough. However, I've looked at maternity allowance and I'm pretty sure I qualify due to previous jobs within the time period they state. However, I don't have payslips for every month. Has anyone else applied without the payslips? Am I f&cked without them?! Thanks in advance x

You will need evidence of your earnings. Payslips are the easiest way. In this situation I would ring hmrc or your previous employer and ask if you can get duplicate pay slips or some other statement of earnings.

Hi, if you were paid direct into your bank you are able to use bank statements as evidence of your earnings

You do need payslips, but you chose a period of 13 weeks in the last 60 or so I believe. Have you got payslips for 13 consecutive weeks?
