Hi all mums-to-be, we live abroad but will be heading to London in the spring to eye up all the baby equipment we need. Eek. This is our first so we totally clueless!

Where should we hit up in London in order to test drive prams, have a peek at cots etc etc? I'm assuming John Lewis on Oxford Street, flagship mamas and papas (any ideas where this is now it's not on Regent Street?!), but is there anywhere else? I'm hoping to smash through it in a day ideally! A bit optimistic maybe, but hopeful!

Thanks!

If you're planning to do most of your shopping in one day, it might be worth going to a Baby Show - there's one in early March in London. There will be lots of companies there and you'll be able to touch and test the prams.

The main disadvantage is that you will be placing orders for delivery later on so you won't be able to take any big purchase items away with you.
