Pinkish discharge?

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and have had a small amount of pinkish discharge on the toilet paper after wiping. Is this normal? I sometimes get a bit of a twinge in my tummy too that feels like mild period pains but these are not that often. Right at the beginning when I found out I was pregnant I cramped alot for about a week like AF was due but now it's calmed down but got this discharge, I've had it twice in two days, only very slightly pink and not much! I've contacted my doctors about the pregnancy and I'm waiting for the midwife to call and make a booking appointment so, so far I haven't seen anyone! Just feeling anxious!

I had the same at 6 weeks and got myself in a right panic. I went to a midwife drop in thing and she was really calm over It, she just said to put a sanitary towel in and if I was soaking that or in a lot of pain then to ring her or go to a and e if after hours. There wasn't anymore so didn't need to. I mentioned it at my booking in appointment and it was just wasn't regarded as an issue at all. If you look there are loads of threads on here about it so does seem it is quite a common thing, hope that's put your mind at rest a bit

Thankyou! I have been reading and you are right there are a lot of other posts with similar things, this is my first pregnancy and I'm a worrier about everything! Even before pregnancy, I will keep an eye on it it's only a small amount and only when I wipe so I think a sanitary towel would be a bit pointless, but I will deffo mention it at my booking appointment, I only went to the docs to fill out pregnancy form on Tuesday last week but feels like the midwife is taking forever to ring and make an appointment

Yeah I had the same when I was 8 weeks I went for a early scan and that helped put my mind at ease. If they offer you a early scan don't be nervous it all seems normal and all the niggles and pains are a good sign your body is growing and getting ready for your baby to grow 😀

Thankyou! It's reassuring to know others have experienced the same and all was fine 😊
