I am freaking out a bit at the mo... I'm pregnant, my little one is 5 in May and I was desperate for another, but it has been such a shock, as after trying for 4 years I thought it wouldn't happen! I started planning my life - my son is at school, and i went back to college, due to start uni in sept,
i'm panicking about my age, I am already overweight, and stressing about the childcare costs again, sleepless nights, all the nappies etc etc
I am in a dark place at the mo and looking for some advice and support. any other ladies out there going through the same thing?

You can do this, all the things your worried about now will be totally forgotten once your little one is born and you will never regret having them. Congratulations!

I was 2 years younger than you when I had DS2, it's knackering but you get through it.

You can do this! I had my son at 42 with a five yr gap between him and his sister. I had IVF for both so not unplanned but I too wondered if I would manage. It's been like having two only children as my daughter was already at school so in many ways actually pretty easy! Childcare was a challenge as I work too but we used a part time nanny for a couple of yrs which helped enormously for school pick ups etc.

The actually pregnancy was fine despite being high risk for both pregnancies (IVF and age) but actually had a homebirth with no. 2. I've not found age to be an issue and some days are harder than others but you can do this!

Many congratulations Thanks

Hi there. I am 38 and currently in early pregnancy with baby number 3. Shitting myself. Also my life is far from perfect. Am suffering anxiety at times to due my situation.

I'mean sure everything will work out for you although I know that won't stop you worrying.
Sometimes we just have to have faith.

I'm can't comment on this personally, but my mum had me at 42 and dad was 47. Best parents ever. They were both very present in my life. I think older parents are great. You've got this!
