Hi all my scan is on the 10th Jan and I'm feeling very nervous! I've had zero signs or symptoms of pregnancy throughout other than hunger pangs, a little tired and cramping here and there the only biggest sign is my missed period! Has anybody else experienced this?? Xxx

Yes, I had hardly any symptoms (I did need to wee a lot, and mildly sore boobs and nausea which suddenly disappeared week 7/8). All was fine at my 12 week!

Lots of people on MN had zero pregnancy symptoms and were fine, sure you will be too! Good luck

First of all congratulations 🎊.

Try not to worry, being pregnant doesn't mean your have to be besieged with symptoms. I've had many friends sail through the months feeling wonderful.

ReturnofSaturn · 07/01/2018 07:35

Well those are the signs, the ones you listed! Your hunger pangs, tiredness and cramping.

MaverickSnoopy · 07/01/2018 07:36

I didn't have any in my first pregnancy. Never occurred to me that it was something to worry about, I just thought I was lucky!

mum2bemay22 · 07/01/2018 08:34

Please try not to worry, I know it’s easier said than done! I remember feeling like I was going to be sick in the waiting area for my 12 week scan I was that worried but it was fine. I think anything terrible happening is a really small percentage and again, I googled and googled the chances before my scan because of a previous miscarriage but I ended up thinking what will be will be and there’s nothing worrying is going to change! Just try and be positive! I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and even though I feel baby moving, I still get really worked up. Try not to overthink and just be positive. You could always ask whoever is going with you to hold your hand and you close your eyes before looking at the screen if you are really nervous and get them to look and then they squeeze your hand once they see the little baby up there (that’s what my husband had to do haha)! Hope this helps and good luck, enjoy every moment x

Toxi I am 7+4 and have very few symptoms. There are a few threads about it and lots of posters have said this was normal for them. I am also terrified so know exactly how you feel. The PP’s suggestion is excellent to have someone with you and you close your eyes until they squeeze your hand. Best wishes for your scan.

kshaw · 07/01/2018 08:41

I had zero signs, 2 negative pregnancy tests until my positive at 10 weeks! All was fine at scans!

UnitedKungdom · 07/01/2018 08:42

You are one of the lucky ones.

pastabest · 07/01/2018 08:46

I was really sick until 10 weeks with my first pregnancy (miscarriage at 11 weeks)

I was really sick until about 19 weeks with my second pregnancy (dd now 11 months old)

Ive had no symptoms at all with my 3rd pregnancy (nearly 18 weeks and all fine so far)

Every pregnancy is different and on an individual level can't be measured by symptoms/sickness.

Good luck for your scan!

Pugsleypugs · 07/01/2018 08:52

So many people don't have any symptoms at all. Honestly, enjoy it in case you get them later or with another pregnancy later in life!

CherryVicky29 · 07/01/2018 09:08

I’m currently 13+3 and panicked through first 12 weeks as apart from the few symptoms you have I also thought it was to easy. At 12 week scan we seen a healthy wriggly baby, I know it’s hard to relax but no symptoms isn’t necessarily bad 🙂

JennyBLB · 07/01/2018 09:35

I’m in a similar position. I’m 12+5 today and have my scan on the 9th (2 days to go!!) I’m feeling nervous and praying that everything is ok. I have tender boobs and my belly has started to get a little bigger but I only had 1 week of sickness and nausea (around 9 weeks) and then it just disappeared over night. It really worried me but I’m just trying to be positive and fingers crossed for the scan on Tuesday. Good luck with yours :)

GandTforme · 07/01/2018 09:37

I had literally no symptoms before 12 week scan. Was worried they wouldn't find anything at all, call me silly and send me away Blush in fact it was twins! They are now 18 months old.

Foggymist · 07/01/2018 10:05

So you have 4 symptoms then, not 0? Enjoy it while it lasts, and as mentioned lots of women have no or few symptoms at this stage, the lucky ones!

hopingandprayingthistime · 07/01/2018 10:21

My boobs haven’t changed at all. Same size. Same colour. Apart from a bit tender... nothing. And breast tenderness is my only real symptom!

Miajesse97 · 07/01/2018 10:48

So I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and have my '12 week scan' on the Tuesday I have had 2 scan 1 at 5 weeks and 1 at 7 as I was having strong pains at the week 5 mark and heartbeat was found at week 7. So basically I know there is a pregnancy in there and I went to the hospital the Friday just gone as I have been having minor cramps and back ache this past week and with an anxiety disorder I think the worst. They wouldn't scan me as I'm not bleeding but they said my hcg levels are still high and where they need to be so basically chill out but I can't I have this fear there isn't going to be a heartbeat and I can't get it out my head. I have no a symptomless pregnancy so far with only minor nausea in the beginning and tiredness but other than that been easy. I just need some reassurance that everything may be okay if my bloods came back with high hcg.

Thanks everyone I'll try to think positive and will update you all! Xx
