38+2 low movement

Just looking for some advice I guess. I'm 38+2 and have just realised I've not felt my baby move at all today. I have been quite busy with moving house and things so it could be that I've just not felt her but I've just had some fizzy juice and still felt no movements (strange since she's always super active). Just wondering what I should do? Not sure if I should call the midwife or wait another few hours as she usually is more active at night anyway? Confused

Go. Go now. Call the hospital and ask to be seen.
There’s never a need to wait and if baby is perfectly fine then all the better.
This happened with me at 38+1 and ended in an emergency c section. Perfectly beautiful and healthy baby at the end but i knew he hadn’t been moving as much and I was right

Call the midwife. They'll do a trace. I went in 3 times in the last few weeks of my most recent pregnancy. They'd much rather see you even if it's nothing (which for me it always was!)

Make the call, absolutely. They won't mind and you will feel better.

FFS just go to hospital and stop wasting time here

Ring the triage unit at the hospital. Better to be safe than sorry x

StylishMummy · 06/01/2018 19:53

Please get checked out Thanks

bonzo77 · 06/01/2018 20:01

Hope you’ve gone. Don’t faff with calling First. Take your bag and notes if possible and go. Take a cab and go alone if no one available to go with you. If you’ve got other kids and no one to have them, take them with you for now. Please.
