I am 29 weeks and got pregnant when my second was 7 months old...I literally feel like I have been pregnant for two years (as the 7 month gap was just a baby blur) I am also on the GD diet so I have to test my bloods throughout the day, trek to a different county regularly for extra appointments (with 4 year old and 15 month old in tow), stick to an exercise plan no matter how tired I am and cannot eat most things let alone the things you need to avoid when pregnant...I keep telling myself as this is our last I need to enjoy every minute! I am green with envy you are at 35 weeks, that seems like a lifetime away for me :-)

35+4 here and time couldn’t be going any slower too!!! Really hoping for a week or 2 early as very much over waddling around like a giant bowling ball!! But D day seems so far away at the min and my list of things to do seems never ending.

@InappropriateUsername ohhhhh I'm so sorry now it's like I was rubbing it in... if I'd have read this post in the early days I'd have wanted to PUNCH the poster!!!!!! I have a 3.5 and just turned 2 year old. Was stuck in bed with sickness for weeks and literally couldn't move at times! I have spd now so in a lot of pain, exhausted and feel generally crappy and sick with indigestion! Feel awful for you with the GD x

34 Weeks...another one here that is green with envy....I'm at 28+3 and I have totally had enough. DD2 was two weeks early...and I wouldn't mind that happening again...though obviously not much earlier. I still sometimes get a sick feeling - probably due to reflux, my back and hips hurt/ache...I don't sleep well, I am now cumbersome and huffing and puffing around...plus still having to inject myself (until week 34 with fragmin)...then there's the taking care of my other two dcs. Don't get me wrong...I am very grateful to be in this position having experienced infertility and a late loss...but this will definitely be my last pregnancy (I'm in my 40's). Stuck in that place between not enjoying being pregnant and worrying about the birth...but just want my body back. Don't worry about posting; to be honest I find it relief to have a joint moan and welcome these threads without me having to start them...there will always be someone behind me too...looking forward to when my number of weeks to go begin with a 3!

bulldogmum · 05/01/2018 18:14

I always feel bad moaning too as I know how hard even getting pregnant can be but the last few weeks really do drag. Hope that if you’re needing diff meds and with GD you are doing ok.
I’m suffering from bad heartburn, reflux, spd and had a car crash a week ago that wrote the car off so back is even more sore but luckily Baby all fine and healthy. Just want to meet the little one now. DD1 was bang on her due date so hoping number 2 will be a tiny bit early!!

34weeksAndCounting · 05/01/2018 19:15

@User45632874 I totally feel for you!!! This was a much wanted pregnancy yet I feel all I've done is moaned, I feel so awful because some people can't get pregnant or have premature births and terrible complications, none of which I have had, so just in need of a light hearted rant 🙂 hoping your pregnancy goes fast!!!

yes, bulldog, I hope you are doing O.K. I had a car crash (car written off when I was 38 weeks with dc1) concussed and abdomen black and blue, fortunately dc (and I) were O.K. Very, very scary.

The psychological aspect for me (having had a late loss), is making time drag all the more in this pregnancy.

Mrstobe90 · 05/01/2018 20:08

This is how I’ve been feeling for weeks. 34 weeks tomorrow and have just accepted that I’m going to be pregnant forever lol

34weeksAndCounting · 06/01/2018 07:22

@User45632874 yes I bet it must be, pregnancy is such a worrying time, I've never understood people who just sail through without a care, thinking everything will be fine, my previous 2 pregnancies have been fine but the psychological aspect has crept into all 3 because of traumatic losses in the family, so I've never been able to take anything for granted! In my 1st labour I had a panic attack that baby was going to end up in special care, midwife was so confused and said but you've had a perfectly normal pregnancy and you're full term.. and just looked at me like I was crazy!
