Achy arm

Hiya,

I have a pain in my left arm. It feels like I've just had the flu jab but I had it 2 weeks ago. Had anyone else experienced this? I'm terrified it's a sign of an ectopic but I haven't had any other symptoms and it's not in the shoulder but where you would have an injection.

Many thanks

I've had this a couple of times - both lasted around 48 hours then went away. Apparently pregnancy makes you more prone to carpal tunnel syndrome where the nerves in your hand get pinched and it refers pain up towards the shoulder. Sadly there's not a huge amount you can do about it but I found tucking the sore arm inside my t-shirt (so it was next to my body heat) helped a bit, as did soaking it in a hot bath. Try not to use it too much either - although easier said than done! Hope it passes quickly for you, and go see your gp if not.
