Hi all, im 36 wks today, lost what i assume is my plug last night, had terrible insomnia, bad stomach cramps (didn't feel like contractions, more like tummy ache) tonns of Braxton hicks which is normal for me though, bad headache, some mild period pains (only a couple) night sweats and hot flashes...the list goes on...

Im not really sure im asking as im sure i know the answer, but does this sound like things are about to happen? Or do i still quite possibly have weeks of this left?

Didnt have these signs with dc1, things are completely different this time around!

Tia for any feedback! Grin

Spd kicked up a gear since losing plug, possibly bubs moving down...was on 'brim' last check, but assuming plug gone he's moving down and engaging? Thought 2nd babies dont engage till labor or near labor...which makes me more suspicious of lising plug. Feeling very crampy, sharp pains in cervix etc...

I think you are in early labour - can you go and get checked?

Good luck!!

I phoned my midwife, and she said she doesn't think its anything to do with labor, and that its probably a tummy bug Confused

If i start to notice a pattern to any pains, I'll drag myself in to get checked...you see the thing is, im by myself, dont drive, and have a 20 month old ds too! My dad will be coming over when 'its time for me to go hospital' Its just a toughie deciding when the time 'is' to go! Im not technically in any pain, although the bh and spd are painful, the period type cramps are more annoying than anything else. X
