Dizzy spells in early pregnancy

I am 7 wks pregnant and whilst still in bed on Sunday morning I had a severe dizzy spell when I rolled over onto my back. It wasn't the sort of dizziness I get whn I stand up to quick (ie when everything goes black) it felt like I had just got into bed after 3 bottles of wine. The room was really spinning and it freaked me out enought to make me hang onto the bed and shout for my DH. I then felt really sick but didn't actually produce anything. Anyway it happened again last night, in fact it woke me up!

Has anyone else experienced anything like this, should I be really worried?

Not sure Nanoon. I got very very dizzy in early pg when I stood for too long (even more than couple of minutes )and had to keep sitting down but I don't remember getting dizzy when I was lying in bed.

Most of the dizziness has gone now though but I did wonder at the time if I was anaemic or something but blood tests were normal. My mw wasn't too bothered about it...

I could just be your hormones playing havoc but probably worth checking with your mw just in case.

You have to remember how hard your body it working on this tiny thing inside you. During the first 3 months you will be more prone to dizzy spells, but I'm sure its nothing to worry about. Worth a mention tho just in case.

Yes I think if it happens again i'll speak to my MW. I didn't get anything like it when I was pregnant with DS (2.7)so it was quite a shock to feel so out of control.

I got it with high blood pressure, might be worth getting it checked.
