Could I be pregnant?

I started my period on 22nd December and finished on 25th. My husband and I had unprotected sex for the first time on 27th December. On the 28th I started feeling really sick, a little light headed, I was peeing old pooping a lot more than normal and I was cramping down below. The cramping has eased off but I'm getting a niggle in what feels like my right ovary. Also my breasts have been aching/burning the past 2 days. I also feel quite weak today. I went to the doctor this morning, he did a pregnancy test but it came back negative (it would be negative as its too early to test) so he thinks I have stomach flu instead. Are these symptoms all in my head or could I actually be pregnant? Has anyone else had these symptoms after 1 week?

No one on the internet can tell you.
Get a pregnancy test.

It's unlikely you were ovulating that soon after your period so I would be surprised. Did you have sex about 2 weeks before your period?

It does seem quite unlikely you're pregnant. If that last period wasn't a real period the test your doctor did would have been positive. If it was a real period there's no way you had time to ovulate yet. So I think it's probably just flu.

However if you really think you're pregnant test once a week until you get your period or a positive.

You need to wait a few weeks, til you are due to start testing, preferably late when hcg levels start to rise.
