Eye pressure - anyone else?

Since becoming pregnant I have suffered with pressure behind my eyes, like sinus pain. It gets worse under heat (like in the shower for instance). I also had this in my first pregnancy but this feels worse. I spoke to my midwife at my booking in appt about it and she had never heard of it, my bp is 112/70 so is fine and I haven't noticed any issues with sight. I wondered if anyone else experienced this, whether it goes away later in pregnancy (I can't remember from my first one!) and if you found out what it was? Thanks!

I have this too! A lot of headaches behind my eyes and I can't bear hot water from the shower on my eyes or forehead, it creates a sudden intense pain! No idea what it is, decides it must just be one of the weird hormonal joys of pregnancy x

I've had this behind one eye, down through cheek and top of jaw on one side. The pain got so bad on boxing day eve that I called 111 in tears after a full night of no sleep. I saw a GP later that day who diagnosed a sinus infection. I was put on a 10 day course of antibiotics along with a steroid nasal spray. I started to feel more normal by New Years Eve. Sounds like you may have something similar? Have you ever had sinus issues before?

Have you spoken to a Optican?

Maybe time to go and get your eyesight check and let them know you feel increased Occular pressure (Increased Occular Hypertension) and its bugging you. They will be able to check pressure (little machine that you get eyes numbed for and they do a touch reading with) and make sure your all ok.

had this a few times with the IIH i have and it bugs the hell out of me, easy enough to go to optician with and they can refer if needed.
