DS will be 23 months when baby is born. I'm thinking were going to need a double?
Any recommendations I'd love the bugaboo donkey as it converts to a single when needed but I just can't afford that!
Thankyou

I have a 23.5 month gap and have gone for the mountain buggy duet. We got the single version with a free family pack.

The family pack includes a carrycot for the first few months then a second seat for when the baby is a bit bigger.
DS is only 2 weeks old but so far I'm loving it. It's so light and smooth to push. It's also the narrowest side by side double and easily fits through standard doors. It's about the same width as a wheelchair.

Do you live in city/town or countryside? I got the Phil and Ted Sport (will be 17 months between kids) as like air tyres, we live in a village with hills and go to the beach, forest walks etc. and I don't get buses anywhere. If I lived in a city/town I'd probably still get it but maybe not if I had to collapse for buses...

We live in a town and drive so no busses. Thankyou I will take a look at those! Smile

I'm just about to sell my Phil and Teds. I had one with my eldest 2 as well and loved it. I'm only selling as mine had the same age gap and now 6 months on I think the toddler could cope with a buggy board on a stroller.

If it was up to me I'd keep it a while longer but DH says having 3 prams is getting ridiculous 😂

We had 23 months between eldest 2. I loved my out and about nipper 360 double. They may have their own newborn accessories now but they didn't at the time (9 years ago). I used a phil and teds cocoon in one of the seats fully reclined when the baby was tiny. Also meant I could taken her out by just lifting out the cocoon and not disturbing her is she was asleep.

I'd leave it as late as possible before making a decision - by 23 months he may be a buggy refuser.

I have the bugaboo donkey & it's amazing I love the pram, hated all the other ones, I actually got help with mine of my step dad, but if I couldn't get it new I would of got a second hand one as I refused to have a different pram, I cannot think of one bad thing to say about it, X

I have 22 month gap. We were offered a Mountain Buggy Duet second hand at a great price and I really like it. It's a side by side one that's only a tiny bit wider than my previous single (Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip).
