Colds and coughs

Out of interest: what could a doctor do if i went to them and said that iv had a cough and cold for 3 weeks ?

Mine has done nothing. He told me to just ride it out. Argh

Get yourself checked out for the cough. A cough shouldn't last more than 3 weeks.

Well the cough goes and coms back, its usually when i cant breath out of my
Nose at night then i wake up and my chest is hurting again and my throat

I agree with alibee, a cough shouldn't last that long.

Normal coughs and colds though there's nothing the Dr can do for you while pregnant and you are really limited with what you can take (baaically only paracetamol).

It could be that as you are pregnant your immune system is low. So you may have got over your first virus, but then as your immune system is not strong it's so much easier for you to catch another cold which could be a completely different strain.
